We all love end of the year celebrations, primarily because the holiday break is something we’ve been all waiting for over the year. It can be however overwhelming (and we all know why), so here’s some relieving (new) holiday music that will help you keep up with the spirit and survive the season!
1. CREEPER – Christmas
Let’s start with a spooky take on seasonal classics. In complete Creeper fashion, you will find here a dark, theatrical rendition of songs popular for being performed by The Pogues and Elvis Presley, as well as one original track, called Same Time Next Year?
2. GOOD CHARLOTTE – A GC Christmas, part 1.
‘A GC Christmas, Pt. 1’ is a small collection of Christmas themed songs, old Good Charlotte-style (including one cover, obviously.) We’re enjoying this and you should too.
3. HANSON – Finally it’s Christmas
This one was released in October, but who wouldn’t add Hanson to their holiday mixtapes? Listen to ‘Finally it’s Christmas’ and pick your favorites (it includes four original songs!)
You can also add to your seasonal playlists Phoebe Bridgers‘ dreamy Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Panic! At the Disco‘s Feels Like Christmas and Lindsey Stirling‘s Time To Fall In Love (featuring All Time Low‘s Alex Gaskarth). The latter is part of the violinist’s latest holiday release ‘Warmer in the Winter’.
Update : Polyphia shared their rendition of It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas on Christmas Eve and made it available on various platforms including their Bandcamp.
Happy holidays you punks!
