Butserfest 2014 – An introduction

Screen Shot 2014-09-01 at 20.23.34Ah, September. That time of the year where you (unfortunately) have to go back to work or university, and festival season is over.. But wait! Not fast! We’ll be attending Butserfest this year, on September 13rd, to have one last bit of fresh air before the year starts. For the past few year, the line up has been
quality, with bands such as We Are The Ocean, Deaf Havana and You Me At Six on their previous line ups, and this year is no different.

Co-headliners this edition are one hundred percent Welsh— could you be possible any more Welsh than The Blackout and Kids In Glass Houses ? We’re not sure about that one. And because one of Butserfest’s most known qualities is its diversity, you’ll also find,to name a few, bands such as Feed The Rhino, Blitz Kids, I Divide, and Tek-One.

The fact it’s alcohol free could put you off,but fear not,for Butserfest work harder and harder every year to keep people entertained in other ways in between bands (like, come on. Laser Tag,climbing walls, and even hula hoops— ALL FOR FREE.).

And,last but not least, a few bands including headliners The Blackout and I Divide will be playing exclusive backstage acoustic sets in between bands, which you can win entry to on the festival’s official Facebook page, provided you have a ticket.

So, are you convinced ? We know we are!

I live in Paris. My music taste is a mix of Emo, Pop/Punk,and everything in between. I want to be a journalist when I become an adult. When I’m not listening to sad bands or ranting about feminism, I do embroidery and watch Parks And Recreation.
