December is here! And it comes with its last batch of music events before the holidays, the winter edition of FloodFest being one of them.
Having already hosted successful editions in the past summer(s), Flood Floorshows returns with a chilly, end of the year edition, a lovely way to round off what was probably and overwhelmingly busy year for everyone and enjoy one last great day of music before the holiday break.
As per usual, the hosts meticulously curated a line up of acts who all have in common to draw from post-hardcore, dark(ish), melodic and shoegazy influences. It is however varied and gives a platform to many locals, which is something we fully support. Headlined by Acres, who released a powerful EP ‘In Sickness and Health’ early this year, the line up consists in :
COMRADES – ROPE – MONT DORE – SLOW WORRIES – GROUPIES – TO ADELAIDE – OUR RELATIVES
In addition to this, the festival will also host a photography exhibition from “Like Your Footprint” (plus, you’ll be able to eat vegan food.)
