It’s not easy to keep track with music news especially when you make yourself a busy bunny, so we check it all out regularly and make a selective list of the new stuff that you could most likely be into. That’s the great stuff you missed!
1. Touché Amoré ft Julian Baker – Skyscraper
With Touché Amoré, the real question is : do they ever disappoint? And as their brand new record ‘Stage Four’ release date is approaching (September 16th), this featuring Julian Baker is yet another reminder that the answer is no (they never disappoint). So there you go, enjoy this little treat for the ears.
2. Hundred Suns – Fractional
With (ex) members from Every Time I Die, Norma Jean and Dead and Divine; Hundred Suns are an ambitious rock band who is getting ready to take over their musical landscape. After spending some time (three years!) shaping this project, Hundred Suns are now launching a crowdfunding campaign for the recording of their debut album, as they already have a full record’s worth material ready. If you wish to participate, you can find details HERE. In the meantime, listen to their debut song Fractional.
3. Twin Atlantic – The Chaser
Only a few days until ‘GLA’, Twin Atlantic‘s upcoming full-length album, which the band has described as a tribute to their hometown, Glasgow. ‘GLA’ sounds in fact like a return to the roots for Twin Atlantic and we’re thrilled as this new chapter unfolds. Listen to the most recent song taken off this record right here. The Chaser was premiered a week ago on BBC Radio 1.
4. Deaf Havana – Sing (music video)
This is not a drill! Deaf Havana are back in full force. Sing is bringing up a refreshing facet of the english boys and set our expectations high for their upcoming record. So come and climb on the Deaf Havana bandwagon with us.
5. John Coffey – Needles (Music Video)
The Dutch have released a new music video for their song ‘Needles’, which has a whole meaning for them. In fact, it comes as a support (via SOS Mediterranee) to those who lost their lives trying to reach our continent in hope of a better life. The band explains : “A video in which we try to give an image of those who lost their home and wash up on our shores. Support SOS Mediterranee in their huge effort to save lives in the Mediterranean Sea. Go to http://sosmediterranee.org/“
You may or may not be aware of it yet, but John Coffey are going on an “indefinite hiatus” (and it’s just a whole lot of bummer). Final shows will be held in Amsterdam on September.
6. Expire – Fighting The Slip
And yet another band that has regrettably decided to call it a day. Expire‘s final record will therefore be called ‘With Regret’, and will be released on September 23rd, through Bridge Nine Records. Here is a new song taken from it –Fighting The Slip.

There are only two new records you should care about right now :

- Black Foxxes – ‘I’m Not Well’ : A serious contender for the album of the year for us. Listen to this!
