It’s not easy to keep track with music news especially when you make yourself a busy bunny, so we check it all out regularly and make a selective list of the new stuff that you could most likely be into. That’s the great stuff you missed!

 

  1. G.L.O.S.S. Stream new EP ‘Trans Day of Revenge’

The quintet from Olympia, Washington, have started streaming their new EP today. Following the excellent ‘Demo’, this release is packed with anger and not only is it wonderful on its own, its release is really timely in light of recent events. So listen to it, let it be cathartic for you, and punch something. We stand with you.

2. Biffy Clyro : Animal Style

After a triumphant set at Download Festival in Paris, which included Animal Style, Biffy Clyro are set to release their new album ‘Ellipsis’ on July 8th, and expectations are high but we’re sure they will crush them.

4. Departures return with Broken + new album announcement

Departures will be releasing a new album, “Death Touches Us, From The Moment We Begin To Love” on July 29th. Here’s a new song, which comes with a music video.

6. letlive.  release ‘If I’m The Devil…’ documentary

Only a few days after releasing their much awaited album ‘If I’m The Devil…’, letlive. now present a documentary of the same name. Here’s what they had to say :

7. Normandie release new video for the song ‘Fight’

The Swedes have just released this new music video for Fight, which is a song taken from their recent rebirth album ‘Inguz’. In this video, Normandie share images of their life on the road and comment “We want to show you why we love touring. These amazing moments we get to share together as a band and with you!” The band has recently announced Inguz summer tour.

8. Night Verses – Drift

Shortly after announcing the release of their sophomore album, Night Verses have shared with us yet another new song, called Drift. ‘Into The Vanishing Light’ will be released on July 8th, through Equal Vision Records.

9. Royal Republic – Any Given Sunday music video

Royal Republic have released a new video for the song Any Given Sunday, which they describe as “an epic tale of love, death and desperation. And while we usually joke about it, this time it’s actually true.”
Any Given Sunday is taken from the Swedes’ recent record ‘Weekend Man’. Check it out!

10. Capsize release second single off upcoming album

Capsize‘s forthcoming full length is set to be released later this summer. In the meantime, the band has unveiled another new song, called It’s Best We Don’t Talk Anymore, in which you can hear once again, the delicate shift in their sound.  ‘A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me’ : out on July 22nd through Equal Vision Records / Rude Records.

13. Yearbook return in a warehouse session

It’s good to have Yearbook back! The band has recorded a few songs for this Warehouse session, that is released exclusively via Upset Magazine. The above video is the first installment of the session and you can check the full feature directly on Upset. Yearbook will be heading out on tour this summer.
