Great Stuff You Missed – April 18th Round Up

It’s not easy to keep track with music news especially when you make yourself a busy bunny, so we check it all out regularly and make a selective list of the new stuff that you could most likely be into. That’s the great stuff you missed!

    1. Trash Boat release new song / announce debut full length

Trash Boat will be releasing their debut album ‘Nothing I Write You Can Change What You’ve Been Through’ on June 17th and here’s the first single taken off it. It features Soupy from The Wonder Years AND we now know that he did work with them on this release a few months ago!

2. Lock & Key release new album Peaceless

Lock & Key are one of those young metal bands who have been on our radar for quite a while now. And we are happy to see (qu’on a eu le flair), because they have just released a massive record via Crooked Noise Records. Hostile is featured on it and you should listen to it now!

3. Afterparty – I Hope You Don’t Make It Home

This is the surprising project Andrew DiJorio (Drew York) has revealed, alongside former Stray From The Path drummer Dan Bourke, as well as Joe Reischel, Joe Mattia and Frank Laudicina. In fact, you can hear DiJorio actually singing alternative/pop songs…It sounds quite refreshing and brings that summers vibe we all need at this time of the year!

4. Fatherson – Just Past the Point of Breaking

Scotland is a fantastic land of alternative rock music and Fatherson is one of its treasures. The above song is the new single taken from their upcoming album ‘Open Book’, which is set to be released on June 3rd and available for pre-order already!

5. Architects – Gone With The Wind

This is Architects‘ second excerpt from the soon-to-be-released ‘All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us’, out on May 27th.  The band will be on tour this summer, there are plenty of dates scheduled and we are sure all of you will be able to catch Architects at some point!

6. Lonely The Brave – Rattlesnakes

Lonely The Brave will be releasing ‘Things That Will Matter’ pretty soon via Hassle Records. Here is another reason you should be excited!
Lonely The Brave will be playing a few shows in the mainland next month, go catch them near you!

7. Bad Ideas call it quits / Release new album

Bittersweet one : We are incredibly sad to hear that Bad Ideas is no more (you can read full statement HERE), but at the same time, they’re offering us this record they didn’t have a chance to release before. This is splitting up done right.

8. Moose Blood release Honey / Announce Blush

Last but not least, after weeks of pink teasing, Moose Blood are finally letting the cat out the bag! Not only they do have a new song / music video out, but they’ve also announced the release of their sophomore album AND a big headliner through UK and Europe. Get stoked!
