5. Roam release new song / announce new album

The past year has been a massive watershed for british pop punks in Roam and following their signing with Hopeless Records earlier in the year, it was obvious that the next step for them was releasing an album. This is precisely what Roam have announced a few days ago, presenting at the same time a brand new song and video (that’s worth the watch, by the way.)
Deadweight will be featured on Roam’s debut full-length ‘Backbone’, set to be released on January 22, 2016!

Check out this stripped-back rendition In Hearts Wake did of Vice Grip, originally performed by their Byron Bay fellows in Parkway Drive. The song was recorded a few weeks ago at Triple J.

7. Deafheaven release New Bermuda

Attention everyone, this is a must listen to any fan of metal. Deafheaven have finally released their brand new record ‘New Bermuda’ only a few days ago (via AntiRecords). And because we feel particularly poetic today, we’ll say that this album is simply beautiful in its darkness.
New Bermuda is available in full stream on Deafheaven’s bandcamp page.

10. Press To Meco release debut album Good Intent

British rockers Press To Meco have just released their debut full length, and to those of you who are already familiar with the band, you will be happy to hear fresh versions of tracks off ‘Affinity’ EP, such as Honestly. The album, ‘Good Intent’ consists in 11 tracks, which all have something different to offer, thanks to the trio’s meticulous work. Right, we forgot to mention that this is a trio and it is something particularly important to have in mind when you listen to the record.
As for the people who wonder if the album has a meaning, Lewis Williams stated : “It’s about growing up and becoming far more aware of the world, the people around me and what being a human means. It’s manic, overthought, tongue-in-cheek and sarcastic at points. It’s the stuff I’m trying to get out of my head at 3am”

.

Have a wonderful week, friends!
