British band Napoleon has been quiet these past few months and we now know why. In a video update the band has just put online earlier today, in which they give an explanation about why things have been slowing down lately. Napoleon especially clarify that they’ve never had a solid line up ever since they debuted as a band, which was “very frustrating”. Having a vocalist living in a separate country wasn’t easy to handle for them and decided to part ways with Alex Feggi by the end of the said tour.
“It’s been almost a year since we finished recording the music for the album but due to not having a stable line up and not really know what the future would hold, we weren’t able to put any new material out”
The wait is now (almost) over, because Napoleon now have Wes Thompson (ex-Climates) as a new frontman and vocalist. The band will be releasing a single soon and a debut album later this year.
To finish, Napoleon will go on tour with Obey The Brave, Malevolence and Kublai Khan in only a few days, which is going to be a good occasion to catch them live with the renewed line up.
