As the year 2016 is coming to an end, we are reflecting on our favorite releases of the past year and on the releases we are expecting for the year to come. One of the most anticipated albums of 2017 is no other than the sixth album of the Arizonan band The Maine.
After playing Vans Warped Tour this Summer, the band went MIA for a little while, only to come back at the beginning of October with the teaser of Miserable Youth.
Documented by Guadalupe « Lupe » Gustos (http://lupesphotography.com), ‘Miserable Youth – Life Through The Lens With The Maine’ is an 8 episode series that follows the creative process of the band through the recording of their upcoming album.
Miserable Youth shows aspects you usually don’t get to see and goes deeper. It’s not just a band recording their album with their producer in a random house up a hill somewhere in Northern California. It’s a bunch of good friends who come together in a beautiful scenery to make the greatest music they can. And we cannot WAIT to listen to the final material.
Even though you don’t know the band yet or don’t like their music, Miserable Youth is definitely worth to watch if you want a glimpse of what it takes to record an album (also, remember The Maine is independent).
