Great stuff you missed – April 6th round up



It’s not easy to keep track with music news especially when you make yourself a busy bunny, so we check it all out weekly and make a selective list of the new stuff that you could most likely be into.


1. Palm Reader – Stacks

Palm Reader have released a new single from their sophomore album ‘Beside The Ones We Love’. The latter is released today and now streaming in full on The Independent. In celebration of this release, Palm Reader have announced a “5 shows /1 day / 0 fucks” in London next month, which is pretty awesome.


2. Happening – Galilée

French band Happening  has a new video out for the song Galilée, which is taken from the bands upcoming debut full length ‘In the Middle of the Seas’. The song has been mixed at Hidden Track studio by Oz Craggs (Feed The Rhino). You all should check it out and keep an eye on Happening!


3. Anti Flag – Fabled World

Anti-Flag have released Fable World as the first track off their upcoming new album ‘American Spring’ (out on May 26th, 2015.)

The song is “inspired by the failure of the Obama era, [it] is the first of many aggressive critiques of the global social and political climate that we find ourselves in.”

 Anti-Flag will be touring in Europe in a couple of months, so get ready to kick off your summer the punk way!


4. Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes

Yes, Frank Carter still does things and this time he’s back under his own name with the song Fangs, that is also available for free download :


5. Miss Vincent – How Much Further?

“Moody” punk-rockers Miss Vincent have released a new song and video for How Much Further?, ahead of the album ‘Reasons Not To Sleep’ , set to be released on May 11th (Engineer Records.)


 7.  KidBrother – Angst

Remember the name KidBrother, as it’s probably a name you’ll be hearing again soon! After various experiences in a few other formations, this quartet has finally decided to join forces and bring us something fresh and interesting. Between the lively melodies and the brilliant dual vocals, KidBrother‘s Angst is a track that cannot be overlooked. It is only their first offering for now, but it’s hopefully announcing the beginning of something wonderful!


8.  Bad Ideas – Clumsy Hands

If you’re into indie rock, Bad Ideas might just be what you need! Check out this beautifully filmed video they have released for Clumsy Hands, taken from their recently released EP ‘The Better Parts Of You’. We absolutely love it!
Bad Ideas will be performing at this year’s GROEZROCK and you should NOT miss them if you’re there!


9. The Prestige – Bête Noire

French hardcore/punk outfit The Prestige has unveiled a new video for the powerful song Bête Noire, which is a track taken from the band’s upcoming full length ‘Amer’ (out on April 20th.) The video has been directed by Adrien Benoliel.


10. TesseracT perform a “gigloo” in Finland

Progressive metallers TesseracT have become the first ever band to perform on a stage entirely made of ice and snow and it’s pretty badass! They described performing like this in ice cold Lapland as spiritual and powerful (we bet it is!) Check it out here it looks absolutely stunning.


11. Tom Delonge – New World

Shortly after the whole Blink 182 drama, Tom Delonge has released new solo stuff already, that you can check out right here. What are your thoughts ?


12. The Story So Far – Solo 

Freshly released, Solo is another track taken from TSSF’s upcoming self-titled record, set to be released on May 19th, 2015 through Pure Noise Records.
